There are three ways to connect with candidates, right from the SearchMonster platform. Take a look at the tabs below to learn how you can easily email and text message candidates, or let the system do it for you with our auto messaging feature.

If you ever need some inspiration, we’ve got some great resources for you:

When you find the right candidate for the job, it’s easy to send a quick email to gauge their interest and introduce yourself via email.

See how it’s done.
To learn all the ins and outs of emailing candidates, watch this how-to video.

How to get started:

1

When you find a candidate you’d like to email, click on the email icon within their profile.

2

In the message pop-up window, you can enter your subject line and enter your text in the message field. Use smart fields to enter dynamic information and save time.

3

Click send at the bottom of the window to deliver your message, but make sure to turn on Save as Template and name this email if you want to keep it as a template for future use.

An auto message campaign will, over time, deploy small batches of email messages to candidates returned in your search results.

Let an auto message campaign recruit for you. Set it up so you can do more.

How to get started:

1

Click on the Setup Campaign icon in the left panel.

2

Create Your Message

Enter your subject line, message, and 5 & 10 day follow up emails. Then click Edit Settings to define this campaign’s parameters.

3

Edit Settings

Set when you want the campaign to expire. Then, limit how many candidates you want to message each day for this specific campaign. To start, you can send out 100 emails per day for all campaigns running.

You have the option to send 25, 50, 75 or 100. Monster recommends starting with 25 so you can adjust your messaging or search parameters to improve response rates.

Select if you want to exclude candidates that have already been contacted by you or someone else in your company. Then, click Back to email campaign setup at the top of the window to return to your email draft where you can preview and start your campaign.

4

Manage Campaign

If you want to edit your email message or settings, the Setup Campaign icon is now labeled Manage Campaign. Click this to make any adjustments or cancel your auto message campaign.
