Features to Note

As you use Monster to search for resumes and/or post jobs, you can easily track, manage and report OFCCP required data. You also have the ability to specify Data Management Techniques and Basic Qualifications. You can manually enter the information or reference existing information from an external system. Maintaining an audit trail of any changes made to this information is easy – the date and time of all entries are automatically recorded, along with the username of the person who created the entry.

Automatically Save Resume Search Criteria

Whenever you search Monster’s Resume Database, your search criteria including keywords and search field settings are saved automatically, along with a record of the position you search for and the date and time of your search.

Limit the Number of Search Results

Monster lets you set a limit on the total number of resumes returned in a resume search. When used in conjunction with OFCCP approved Data Management Techniques, this setting can help reduce your record keeping requirements.

View Applicant Resume History

Monster’s Snapshot feature saves applicant resumes exactly as they were sent. Even if a job seeker deletes his or her resume, you will have a permanent record of how the resume appeared when the seeker applied, or at the time you copied the resume to a folder during a resume search.

Track All Past Resume Activity

Monster automatically keeps an audit trail of all actions you perform on resumes, including copying/moving resumes from one folder to another, creating/editing notes pertaining to specific resumes, updating a seeker’s priority, round or disposition status, sending saved letters to job seekers and forwarding resumes through email.

Apply a Disposition Status

To help you account for the final determination of each applicant, a new “Disposition Status” field appears on each job seeker’s record. You can choose from Monster’s standard list of dispositions—or build your own customized list, and at any time you can view the disposition status of all job seekers in any given folder.

In the case of an audit, Monster’s comprehensive collection of OFCCP reports will help you quickly pinpoint and respond to compliance issues. You can decide which users have access to the following reports:

  1. The Resume Search Detail Report provides you with a detailed listing of the search criteria used for each Resume Search within a given folder including keywords and data input through radio buttons, check boxes and selection lists.
  2. The Disposition Detail Report lists the disposition status of each applicant in a given folder. You can use this report to help identify which applicants meet the Internet Applicant definition.
  3. The Resume Actions Detail Report provides you with a detailed listing of all actions performed on every resume within a given folder, including how they were added. For resumes added through Resume Search, a record of the original search string used is also included. This report also documents letters sent to job seekers, a requirement under the new Rule.
  4. The Resume Actions Detail Report provides you with a detailed listing of all actions performed on every resume within a given folder, including how they were added. For resumes added through Resume Search, a record of the original search string used is also included. This report also documents letters sent to job seekers, a requirement under the new Rule.
  5. The OFCCP Applicant Detail Report provides you with a detailed listing of the race, gender and disposition status of all applicants within a given folder.
  6. The OFCCP Applicant Summary Report provides a count and percent of total applicants for a specific folder, broken out by disposition, race and gender. A calculation for “Total Minority” applicants is also included.

    Standard Reports

These free, online reports provide you with the last 90 days worth of data including hyperlinks to Job Postings and resume details. They are viewable in Microsoft Excel format and allow you to view one job folder at a time.

    Premium Reports (Recommended)

Even more comprehensive, these offline, Monster-generated data packages include all resume and Job Posting details, can be downloaded directly to your computer and are available monthly or quarterly.

Along with full tracking and reporting capabilities, they provide your compliance officers with highly valuable, centralized data on how your company is meeting its overall OFCCP requirements.

Unlike Standard Reports, you can report on all of your job folders in a combined view in the time-frame you specify. Offline data can even be emailed. Compliance officers, without a Monster username and password, can manipulate the downloaded data without an Internet connection. Offline reports are available on a onetime or subscription basis in Microsoft Excel or XML format.
