Your Search Results Page

Once you’ve searched Monster’s candidate database, it’s time to dive into the results. You’ll be able to refine your search criteria and set requirements to return the best candidates for the job. We’ll show you how.

Results Page Overview

The 3-pane layout gives you easy access to:

  1. Search Criteria: Adjust your selections and set requirements to narrow or expand your results list. Just make sure to click the Update button at the bottom of the page to refresh your results. Need some inspiration? Try our Searching Best Practices.
  2. Candidate Summary: See a few candidate highlights including: name, location, current title, and top skills. Click the card to expose more candidate information in the right panel.
  3. Monster Profile: Get a free preview of the candidate’s Profile, and click over to the Resume tab if you like what you see. The Activity tab will show if you or your team has interacted with this candidate.

Your results page will always default to your Matches view – providing a list of all the relevant candidates that match your search criteria.

As you mark your candidates as Favorites or Skipped, they will be grouped into their respective tabs, so you can easily reference a focused view of your selections.

Each time you click the Compare icon within a candidate’s profile, they will be added to the compare tab. On click, it will open a new page with a side-by-side view of up to 5 candidates. Learn more from our Candidate Actions article.

  • Click on the back arrow to return to your Search Dashboard page, where you can start a new search from scratch or access your saved searches.

  • No matter where you navigate to within Resume Search, the blocks icon will return you to your search results.

  • Click the graph icon to view your campaign performance.

  • The gear icon will bring you to your search settings where you can archive an active searchor choose options for your email notifications.

  • To create or manage a message campaign specifically for this search, click on the message icon.

Enable Notifications

If you create a new search, make sure to turn on the Enable Notifications switch located at the bottom of your search criteria options. This feature will alert you to new candidate matches for this search specifically – so you can review them and reach out before a competitor does.
