A 2009 survey of over 700 companies examines their view of the impact of government funds.

Only 22% of employer respondents have any idea of how government funding might impact their workforce. The fact that half of respondents believe it will have no effect, and 37% are unsure, demonstrates the difficulty government has had to date in distributing job creation funding, and the challenge it faces in convincing Americans that its plans can help the country's economic recovery.
